FULL BUILD ALBUM!!!!!!!

Its Almost Over...Turn key is not long away. What seems like a long journey, suddenly becomes a distant memory once you get to here. You will sit and stare, because its only down hill.
But you do hope you don't see this site in the near future haha!

All we hope is that the boxes of bolts and parts bin is empty! When we get this far.

Bolts are torqued, loctited, checked, double checked.

The last time we were here:

No Limits - 21/08/2014 - Damp Track - Long Track 1:10.68

/no-limits-track-day-24042014-592940.html

4 months ago I was out in the rain :( Looks like nothing has changed...BUT! I did a quicker long track, but a slower short track

Tires > I have some old A050 235/45 and some CE28N 17x8.5 to fit them on

What did i do this time: took out some oil, emptied the catch can /track-prep-z27ag-goes-to-war-iv.html, bled the brakes, cleaned and gapped the spark plugs.

/research-into-colder-plugs-z27ag.html

- working out my various tire diameters and heights, trying to figure out the best combo and the best clearances.
In the end I ran 225 on the fronts with a +25mm spacer and 235 on the rear without spacers.

4Sale - Swaybar Linkage Bushes - Replacements for OEM RColt Z27AG 4056A054

Basically I was asked what linkage bush I use, because a fellow racer kept flogging the stock rubber ones.
I said I made my own years ago and still using the same urethane ones.
So I thought I would help a brother out and invest in some molds and a small batch of the goods.

What is my swaybar linkage / swaybar bush?? /sway-barstabilizer-link-rnd-z27ag.html
What did I make so long ago, 2011?? /solid-shifter-linkage-and-custom.html
The OEM part number?? /install-of-swaybar-linkage.html

My original unit from 2011 >

The ones I got made in 83A urethane.

Sway bar linkage bushes for sale - these are an 83A duro.

$80AUD for sleeved bushes (1 set available, need more sleeves made up)
$60AUD for standard (4 sets available)

For sales contact me on ayu### at gmail dot com {you should know what ### translates to}

A fellow Rcolter OEM bushes, what I guarantee everyone's will look like >>

Fun fact. The urethane that I been using, uses a TDI curative. Basically it's of a higher grade and chemically inert and UV resistant. So any grease can be used. He's the only shop licensed to pour it in Perth, WA. He makes the urethane castings for mining equipment.

I also make - Rear Suspension Bush $120AUD /rear-replacement-bushes-for-z27ag-rcolt.html

Le Klaw Bleu - Kei Kar SmokeHouse - It's First Lift

First time lifting the Colt in my Chibi Garage.
I lift it from the sides so it doesn't roll back.
Not an awesome amount of room, but its what I call home.
Make do with what I got.

There is a track day in 4 days.

I don't have time for much, going to run the same brake pads as last time ELIG.
Possibly just a brake bleed, check fluids.
I still have a leaky flex pipe.
I want to get my under tray on that I made a long time ago OR cut a new one.

Le Klaw Bleu - Racing Workshop Opening Soon! - Cont'd

The hard yards...digging, cutting, lifting & hammering

The Colt has been inserted! Finally it has a home.

Septic tank was too high, so I took out the lid! Tough man at work.
I caved in the lid and used the concrete as rubble down the side of the shed.

Love the Civic, wheelbarrow in the back!

I thought I should do the right thing and add a storm water drain, more trouble than I had expected.

Then came the even harder bit, getting the ground level and paving with 600x600 slabs :(

Time to close up the gabs with expanding foam, i injected it into all the corrugations

And whats a shed without shelving?

So I have (HxLxD):
2000x2000x800 for the bench
2000x1800x600 for extra storage
2500x1800x800 for main storage
2500x1800x400 (on rollers) for small tools that I can move around, in & out the way

400w? light :)

< the racks were slightly too tallk, wall height is 2.4m so i cut off ~ 10cm

Le Klaw Bleu - Racing Workshop Opening Soon!

I haven't had time to touch the car because of my master piece.
Been two years in the making and it finally has come to the final chapters - the fit out is just around the corner~!

It all started by installing a rolling gate and removing the old super6 fence.
In went the colour bond.
I took this change to install the fence at its new future height. I dropped the soil level by ~1ft

I also took the chance to buy this epic tool AIR NIBBLER~

These bad boys need a home, hence the soon to be workshop!

The next phase was to remove all the concrete pavers and take down the old 3x3.
Emptying it took forever!

I found evidence that a fire started in my shed WTF

I put it up on gumtree to get rid of it ASAP, little did i realise it was well sought after. I had about 10 phone calls within 10minutes.

I should have charged a carton :(

Back breaking task :(

Then the bobcat, needed to drop the soil ~1ft + 100mm to allow for the concrete pad.
It was about 28sqm by 400/500mm down.
In the process i found my septic tank :(

Then months later, the delivery I had been waiting for

The fun started~

Did my own wiring provisions.
I want to run 3phase, 15A, CAT5 etc.

Finally after 2yrs I have got to this, the final piece.  I helped out burrowing to save money ha :)

Early morning start - 3 burrows in rotation with me and another pushing

The finish! - Dusted and secreted to a very polished/smooth finish. Often not done because of the cost & time
