Selecting Bearing & Piston Sizes for a Z27AG RColt
Using the Russian catalogue i have been trying to work out what sizes i need. I am not able to measure the crank journals because the engine isn't with me.

I been using the engine block markings to work out the sizes
I couldn't find any bearing ID marks . It was marked with a D8C C
Cylinder bore mark and piston mark are both C.
Funny enough that the other bores are size B. The one that blew was size C.
Putting the block back together -

The bent rod story - bent-rod-z27ag-4g15-more-to-come.html
Rod is marked with a J near the bearing cap, in the middle of the rod is a I. The piston skirt is marked with a B. I am not sure what each marking represents as they aren't clearly marked in the workshop manual
Cranks markings:
<-Front of engine -
1 (timing belt),2, 3,4, 5 (rear main)
22222 [i believe this is the crank main cap journals]
ABBB1 [connecting rod bearings, I believe the 1 is a marker or identifier]
Therefore piston 2 (my bent rod) is size B
= 41.988mm - 41.994
Piston skirt marked with a B?
My friend wasn't able to find any cylinder block ID mark (I believe its on the underside) or a bearing ID.
Looks like the conrod bearings are used in a lancer - http://forum.lancer-club.ru/
