Civic D15B7 - Compression Test - 240k km - 150psi

4/3/2 all run about 150psi
1 was about 152psi

Check compression with engine at normal operating temperature and throttle in wide open position. Prior to performing test, disable ignition and fuel injection to prevent fuel from being sprayed into cylinders while cranking engine. I just unpluged the injectors, too hard to hunt down the fuel pump fuse.

My compression tester fell apart in the head :(
Crap design, try to unscrew it and it unscrews the adapter
I used teflon tape and gaffa tap to hold it together.

Ensure the battery is fully charged and that cranking speed is 250 RPM. Standard reading should be 135-185 psi. The maximum variation between cylinders is 28 psi.

To test if its the rings or the valve leaking, you can add some oil to the cylinder. If the compression test jumps up, it will conclude signs of ring ware.
If it doesn't change much, it can be signs of wearing valves.
It was too late, so I didn't bother with adding oil.
