B18C2 EG TLC - Timing Belt Installation and Water Pump
Ahhhh what a pain this was, something simple took forever @_@
I think because the B18C is shoe horned into the EG, there is very little ROOM!
But the usual step took place, remove power steering belt, drop undertray, loosen alternator, remove alternator belt, remove the crank pulley (rattle gun action), remove the plug leads, loosen the plugs, remove the rocker cover, remove the timing belt covers.
Remove the tensioner, remove the timing belt, remove the water pump.
And reverse.
Remove the locking nut, and pivot nut then spin the wing nut to loosen the PS pump
I previously rebuilt this for the P72 head

Engine mount from the chassis as well as from the block was removed, I had very little clearance.
New tensioner (I didn't bother installing new cam and crank seal, no patience, engine has 200k km on it
Water pump bolts vary insize, so be careful, I always add some silicone grease to the O-ring. Some people might want gasket sealant that is used for water pumps
I rotated the engine anti clockwise a tad then clock wise to take off the slack.
I wasn't able to do a full rotation counter clockwise, the belt would slip.
