I will never buy Bosch Fusion Plugs ever again #@$^#% - Civic Hated It!

Finally decided to give my B18C some TLC.
It was due for an oil change, but i decided to replace some other parts.
New sparkplugs, fuel filter, ignition leads & new dizzy rotor.

I think she is as 189k km and is due for a rear main and a syncro or two.
A stereo would also be nice, or a radio lol

But what a biatch it was. Later to find out the car absolutely hates the Bosch plugs, after i spent about $60 on the load of crap. Never will i buy a Bosch plug for my loved JDM cars. It wias missing hardcore in the mid rpm range, top end was ok.

My B18C parts included -
Fuel Filter - Silver Line FF39SL or a Z463 (included new crush washers)
Oil Filter - Z27A / Z27AHE
Ignition Lead / Spark Plug Leads - RC-HE64 / HE64
Dizzy Rotor - JR995

Spark Plugs - F1-4 Piece of shit! NEVER BUY THESE
Also note that if u google, I am not the only one to have issues with Bosch plugs

The Civic has had a power steering pump rebuild /honda-p30a-rebuildoverhaul-from-b18c-eg.html
Its had a new fuel pump /fuel-pump-eg-civic-92.html
A new battery, tested the cooling system ummm
Also new vtech solenoid gaskets /b18c-upper-lower-vtec-solenoid-rebuild.html

Some other shots of the project in its early days, it hasn't moved anywhere besides maintenance /project-civic-eg-with-b18c.html
Not sure what the future holds for her. New rims, brake upgrade and wait for the motor to die? Kswap? Boosted B series. But first is to finish the Colt

Went through all the rear suspension parts to find any sources of noise. Noticed a loose locking ring on the strut

Trying a new Ryco Platinum filter, never have i seen it before. The typical JDM oil filter i see a lot on cars Z79A / Z27AHE

  1. No need to experiment on spark plugs...NGK or Denso will do the job ;)
